Course Library

I've divided these into my membership, business-focused and creative courses. Some really are both, so I just picked the category I thought fit best! ;)

Becca from Becca Jean Photography laughing and looking to the side

Hey, I’m Becca!

My full name is Rebecca Jean Lueck but I go by Becca. I’m an adventure family photographer and educator based in Portland, Oregon.

I’ve been photographing people since high school and got my first paid photography job in 2010. Once I discovered lifestyle family photography, I fell in love with it. I loved that sessions could be playful and relaxed, and that I could photograph families being themselves instead of trying to get everyone to pose perfectly and smile at the camera. Making sessions look and feel fun is my favorite.

I also teach other family photographers what I’ve learned over the past 15+ years. There’s a lot to figure out when you’re trying to turn photography into an actual business, and most of us didn’t get into this because we were excited about SEO, workflows, pricing, or writing emails. I like taking the things I’ve learned through years of trial and error and making them easier for other photographers to figure out.

I grew up in California and moved to Oregon when I was pregnant with my youngest. I live here with my husband and two teens, and the Pacific Northwest has become a huge part of my photography. I’m always looking for beautiful places to explore with families, especially if there are mountains, wildflowers, water, or an amazing view involved.

I love traveling with my family, scouting new photo locations, and curling up on the couch with a cheesy romance movie.
